G'day all,

Purchased a 99 impreza RX last week.

Great upgrade over my last car. Thought i should sign up to troll and attempt to absorb some knowledge.

Nothing planned for the car at the moment, have to figure out where i sit with my warranty.

but if i do....

1. pod filter and custom piping (still researching)

2. either headers and back, or cat-back. (funds dependant)

can see the point currently of doing anything else.

Pretty good that you got warranty on a 99 car, I'm guessing you got it from a dealer and its a short term warranty? Unfortunately its probably not worth too much.

Pod filter and custom piping - waste of time other than bling looks.
Exhaust - Cat back should give you the noise you are after.

Unfortunately there's not much that can be done to the NA's. But enjoy your cheap insurance :)

the cost difference of me owning my06 impreza vs a wrx is only $35 a month. Hense why I am making the switch.

You can also get it a lot less than that.

sweeet, same as mine. lower it, tint it, cat back exhaust and 18's.......will look sweet
