Time to say hello!
 

Hey all,
My name is Adrian, I have been reading these forums for a couple of years now and thought its about time I introduced myself as I just recently acquired my first rex. Its a 99 Version 5 Sti, previously owned by my old man so its been around since it was new. It is completely stock and in great condition so im happy! I look forward to meeting some of you and attending a few events; it was good to meet a few of you today at the dyno day at Tenegah as well(I was Lucas mate). a standard version 5 sti! what a find! keep it the way it is and unlike the rest of our subaru's, yours will actually go up in value one day!

smd pnp autronic, vf34, dms40's and 18" prodrive wheels...that would be my dream list for a v5

Actually I was thinking of wheels similar to the ones you just purchased Ramon(sorry to copy lol) I have been eyeing them off for some time though! as well as a specific pair of TE-37s but am yet to decide between the two. I would love to keep it as original as possible, as like you said its a rarity to see some in pure form hmm! Ah well we will see what happens and what the budget permits, but I will keep it in my best interest for any work I do carry out that it can easily be reverted. First things first though I have to get comfortable with the car and then go from there!

the sti rays would look awesome on a v5. saying that the prodrives would look better is just because my two fav version 5's have/had the prodrives on them, [V5 STI] and [STI TUNED], both don't get any classier and surprisingly both shared pretty much identical mod paths with the autronic, fmic and wild ice installs.
