Iv been on here for a little while so i might as well now introduce my bugeye.

Here she is ,pretty ugly eh? :D

Nah she is alright ,they look better with the kit on i think.
That was her when i first got her and completely stock.

Just the simple bolt on mods are
XS power TMIC W 28cm,H 10cm,L 51cm

3 inch TBE It consists of a XForce dump pipe and cat, from the cat back is TRUST with a 3 inch sewerage pipe tip.

Silicone intake pipe

Apexi filter and adapter

STI boot spoiler,cant stand the look of the park bench type spoiler :D

2 stage boost controller 10 psi to 20 psi

Where did you get the rear spoiler from? Looks just as mismatched paintwise as the one I had done on my STi, even down to how the middle of the lower part doesn't sit down as far as the edges.

And some dish on the wheels wouldn't go astray to fill out the gaurds. Always been a fan of white WRX's :D

Sorry didn't mean to pick on it too much, does look OK but :)

I got the STI spoiler from a bloke on here his name is "Darken" and the same with the exhaust from him,geez he is good for parts :D
The middle of the spoiler is not as yet bolted down as i cant be bothered at the moment to get the drill out.

For the different shade of colour for the spoiler i dont know if its the car paint or the spoiler is faded or really as can see its not completely in the sun when i took the pic.

nice bug im jel! regarding boosting to 20..im sure ive read on many websites including gfb and turbosmart that there is a small amount of safe excess boost that can be pulled....thus not causing too much excess strain to drivetrain...correct me if im wrong but 20 seems to be a lil high for a td04 doesnt it?

Strange your only getting 205hp at 20 psi. I got 205 from 13psi with a td04.

I said to the boys at ASG to give it a verso and as much boost thats safe for the stock turbo and ecu and thats what they gave me .

I dont know how long this turbo will go until it shits itself but i was told to go up the next size and a bit more boost will be added with the next tune.

I dont intend to go after market ecu as i consider this rex finished with mods as its only a daily driver.
We all know a modded car is never finished :D

205 hp on 20 psi is what it says on the print out.
Im sure the sparkplugs are the originals since new and proberly did not help and only premium fuel that was used in the tank.

The 95RON would be killing it.

Question....did u notice the power increase after adding the air filter/tmic/exhaust or not really until u had it versofied??

Also whats going on with the dual stage boost controller now that shes tuned?? has it been disabled/removed??

Google says 205 hp = 152.868474 kilowatts

Redbook says these do '160kW @ 5600rpm STOCK '

That's 153KW at the wheels dude. Subaru measure their specs from the engine

When i got the rex back from ASG ,i cant be certain that i felt a big difference in power on 10 psi as i always had it on 20 psi virtually from the moment i got it back.

There is no doubt if i only had it tuned for 10 psi only the difference would of been very noticeable.
The 1 thing i know that the verso done was make the rex run smoother.

As for the dual stage boost controller the guys disconnected the factory boost control so it would not work against the dual stage controller.

Nice looking car, a nice set of wheels to fill out that bodykit and it'd look hawt!

If it was not for that kit being on the rex i would not have bought her as they look about as ugly as a MY08 shopping trolley with out them:D ,but the 08's looks are growing on me .
I cant see myself spending any more dosh on my rex even to get some nice rims as i think the stockies look not too bad as they are ,If they were 15's or 16's then yes bigger is better with the kit.
