Hey everyone, how ya going?
I've been reading the posts for a while but I thought I would introduce myself.

I've got an MY08 WRX. Had it for a year now. It was one of the first ones off the boat.
Now I know most of you don't like the 08, but I really do.
It is a work car and I've only got 2 more years on the lease before I hand it back and get a new one :D So I guess that will be an MY10.....

Now overall I'm happy with the 08 except for 1 little point. The exhaust!
I'm really looking to put a rear muffler on it to give it a better note.
I'm not looking to replace the whole thing just the rear muffler.

I regularly take it down south and give it a good fang on the gravel roads round the farm and I have to say it handles the gravel really well. (needs better tyres for that though)
But the first time I had it sideways at 120km/h in the grave was brown trousers :eek:

So your saying theres no point in spending alot of coin because your on a lease? Coz you could get a fair bit of whack out of it with a turbo back and reflash. Makes drives down south funner!

Yeah part of the lease states that I am not allowed to modify the vehicle..
But as far as the exhaust goes I'm looking to buy a bolt on so I can change it back at the end of lease.

The advantage I have with the lease is that at the end the buy back is only $18k but it will be worth much more than that (if we can sway public opinion and loose the ugly betty title :rolleyes: ) so the extra $10k difference will push me closer to getting an STI next time round.

Lose Window$ and get yourself onto Linux and leave viruses behind.

pfft windows is ok, just get a decent firewall/antivirus. you have problems evo :p

hmmm it would seem so, just bought the computer back from the verge of crashing by getting rid of alot of virus's, guess thats what happens when you have 4 people whoreing it downloading alot etc.
