Hey guys, obviously im new, not only to this forum but to the japanese, tuner scene, im liking what i see. hahahha
I just bought a 97 WRX and im absolutly in love with it, i use to drive v8 commodores and i still like them, but theres somthing about this new car thats just turned me away. I have absolutly no idea what to do to this car... all i know is a FMIC and blow off valve lol. I think i would need all the help i can get, and i hope this forum could give me great advice. |
looks good mate. change the rear lights if you can. maybe stick with a TMIC

Hi and welcome. Looks like it could be lowered too, but i guess it depends what you really wanna do to it.
|
Congrats on the buy and welcome to pdiddy!
Drive it, do some driver training events in it, get a feel for it, see what you don't like, then go from there. |
Lose the rear lights. Go for either stockies or STI and it will look heaps better.
4 pot brakes up front is a good starting point on a 97. They are standard equipment on 99 and onwards models. |
colour code those centre caps! and welcome

G'day Trevor.
Welcome aboard. :D |
welcome mate

Welcome Mate.
Enjoy your time at Perth-WRX. There is heaps of info to read up on, so just type a subject into the search, and read up what you can. As the other's have said, I would ditch those rear lights, and get yourself some JDM STI ones, or stockers, and try source urself an STI front lip, to finish off the front of the car. Welcome again. |
Welcome,
I understand exactly where you are coming from. I sold a couple (yes I owned more than 1) of my Commodores & got into my WRX. Still miss them sometimes. But could never do half the stuff I do in the WRX in the commodores. The forum is full of heaps of information & like what has been said, maybe don't go the front mount just yet. I did it first & it made the car very laggy. Keep with the topmount |
