Thanks Andy as does yours!
Definitely NOT putting 20" chromes on, I went to tech 9 in O'connor the other week and I have my eye on some 19" Konig 'Lace' wheels

Unfortunately they aren't going to have dish anywhere near that in the Subaru offset version.

Also, being 19" they are probably going to weigh like 20kg per wheel. 18" might be a better option and allow you to spend more money on better tyres too.

^ yeah he's right, Mel.
Remember, bigger tyres (or more uncommon sizes) = more money.

I've leaned (as most people here would have) that throwing on cheap tyres sucks, so always budget for decent tyres. Decent tyres on 19s = sell a child.

Not to mention the rougher ride..... esp going from 17's to 19's.

18's are the nice compromise......says me with stockies

Definately picked the right year and colour though

I never thought of it like that... thanks! I guess 18" will still look nice

Another random question- Does anyone know why you aren't allowed to have the word WRX on your numberplate? Im getting custom plates for xmas and they said using the word WRX is a "conflict of interest". I've searched the site for something relating to this and can't find anything similar...

i believe they are trying to stop people from getting personalised number plates associated to a car for instance GT 351...because they think people are getting these plates to sell for profit, try ur luck at a different dpi, might have been the person behind the desk...good luck

I think it's more likely that the DPI/DOT wants to sell them later as "collectors" or "special edition" plates and make profit themselves!

Most people get away with variations of "REX" if you can work with that.

Also probably to do with the copyrights held on car names by the manufacturers.
