Hi, MY99

Hey everyone, a bit about me first.

My name is Darko, my first car i ever had was a 1967 2 door corolla panal van with 1.5 million kms on it, it had never broken down untill it got yellowed and couldnt be bothered taking it over the pits. For a while i just drove what ever cars were at home.

After a while i thought ide purchase somthig ide like, so i went out and bought my self a JZA70 Manual aerotop supra. Was an excellent car, very quick as it had a lot of BPU upgrades. Curcumstances changed so after only 1 and a half years of owning it i was forced to sell. To date this was my favourite car but maybe that will change with time:cool:

After driving around in the missus lancer for around 1 year, i had to drive my dads XR6 for a few weeks because the lancer was gettin a service as it broke down. Anyways i drive like a normal person and one day i was coming home from work and i was really tired and the road was merging from a 2 lane to a 1 lane, and in the next lane was a really slow granny driving so i decided to give it a little to get in front, after doing this it put a big smile on my face from the power it had. Yes it was just an XR6 but driving a lancer for over 1 year almost anything with a big engine seems fast to that haha.

After this event happened it reminded me of how it was to feel of owning a sports car. As always being into japp imports i had to get another one. After around 6 months of serching through different types of silvias, skylines and other supras, and test driving all of them i had finialy decided to go with a WRX. Something about the note coming out the back just does somthing for me, even though the supra was my favourite car i wanted to try somthing different.

After serching high a low i had found a couple so i went out and had a look. All i can say it man there are so many bad examples out there. After months of serching i had finaly found it. I live in the north part and the car i found was in mandurah, so the long drive began.

After having a look at the car, gettin people to check it out and negotiating a preice i had finaly bought the car i was after.

Sorry about the long read, now for the Specs

MY99 1999 Subaru Impreza WRX
Only 97,000kms on it with Full log book history buy subaru
5sp obviously
Dark Blue
Overall the car is in imaculate condition except for a scratch hear and there but barly noticable unless really looking for them.
Also has a 2inch cat back exhaust but want to upgrade to somthing a bit better, still sounds nice though.

Future plans
Note going to go overboard, eventualy i would like to purchase a front lip, an STI wing, i have a front mount from the supra so just need some piping, and a nice sounding system, nothing overboard. Also just a boost controller but dont want to boost it up much more and just to change to a heavy duty clutch.

Well enough about that, have a look at the pics and judge for your self. Pics dont do justice, and she needs a wash but been busy so yeah, paint is in imaculate condition and so is the interior.
Thanks for reading.

Welcome mate,
Looks clean. I would avoid a heavy duty clutch with your stock gbox, you'll just break the 'box! Subaru boxes are well known to be fragile like glass...

Nice clean looking car mate.. put on a full kit :P

cheers jezza, i didnt really know they were that fragile, i take it easy anyways, hmm might have to do a bit more reserch on clutches then. what do you have in yours?

cheers spitshine, as for a full kit, hmm tempting but i would be happy with just a massive front lip like the blitz one haha.

That note is called DAK DAK :)

As for the HD clutch, I have one in my MY00 GC8 and it goes fine with the box, just avoid anything more than that like a brass button clutch and the like. An organic HD clutch will be fine provided you dont launch it all the time.
