Hi

My name’s Michael, most people call me Woody. I’m fairly new to these forums and to AWD cars but like most people on here I’ve been playing around with cars since having my licence.

My first car was a Holden Gemini, after wasting thousands on doing it up I sold it to make way for my first import being an NA S13... The NA didn't last long. Neither did my savings... After a nearly a decade and a lot of cash my S13 was a finished project had a good look to it, 430rwhp to match the look and handled like a go kart. I was fortunate enough to win a few autosalon trophies with it as well as have it featured in a few magazines.

I wanted to sell it for something newer, a tad slower and a lot more comfortable. Natural progression meant a Skyline… My mate Jash imported an ex demo car off of his friends at a workshop called Garage Eastbear. The car was basically a GTR replica. It was a great daily driver (330rwhp, handled well and was comfortable) but I wanted to get into something with 4 doors and with AWD, especially after being in a mates Evo 7.

Lucky for me my girlfriend changes her cars like she does her underwear. She wanted to get something new which allowed me to sell my Skyline and buy her WRX. My car is an MY04 WRX. It is fairly stock at the moment with only a K&N filter and 3” TBE. Plenty more will come in good time. My girlfriend re-sprayed the car over Xmas last year after fitting some Ultrex STi body bits. I’ve just recently fitted the wheels.

This intro is probably too long but to be honest you probably won’t see me posting much, mainly because apart from knowing enough things about cars I also know how to use the search function.

As a moderator on other forums I used to love flaming noobies for not searching properly before asking questions… : )
