my99 wrx just bought
 

Hi peoples, just bought this my99 wrx needs a bit of work but goes ok. does anyone know where i can get a gold set of 17inch sti rims for it...

Nice score mate, awesome it's already got the 22B style bonnet vents, V5/V6 STi Foglight covers, V6 STi Front Lip and a V6 STi rear spoiler so not much left to do but Get some JDM STi rear lights and get a clear bumper indicator to top off an already hawt looking car. :icon_thum

As others have said the rims don't look half bad but 02-04 STi rims will look hawt!!! :icon_thum

I'd say leave those wheels on it. Be different. GD wheels on GC's are common place. But... it's your car. It looks good how it is.

Could have sworn it was my98 and earlier that weren't colour coded and my99-00 was.

99% sure when I was asking before I bought my M99, and its only the MY00 with colour coded doors :)

It's not hard to get them colour coded. I'd say a previous has had it done.
My my99 has black handles and mirrors.

And the skirts below the doors, which are usually black on the MY99. It's not uncommon to get them painted.

Maybe they did it to shift MY99 stock before the MY00 arrived with colour coded everything? Would make sense - at a very quick glance only the rims are different between the two models.
