Default New rex in the family

Hi everyone..

Just bought my first wrx,
Thought I would share it with you guys and introduce my self.
Im Adam, new to the Wrx scene.
The beast is a 1996 Wrx, well looked after ( as everyone says )
Owned by a dude that works for subaru, so can only assume he has looked after it..
Only mod is Exhaust, love that subaru exhaust note !
Inside is great, all original and hardly any scuffs or damage. usual wear
on the drive seat, that kinda stuff.
Previous owner has done all the service side of it up to date, w/pump hoses, timing belts and pully's ect, so im certain I will get a good 10 thou out it before the next service. im looking farward to some happy driving.
..
Well heres a pic, could do with a set of rims though, if anyone has a cheap set laying around 16's or 17's from a later model rex, with good tyres, no aftermarket rims, has to be wrx rims... cheers
seeya out on the next cruise..

Hi Adam, you live near me if you are in CanningVale - I have a Dark Blue MY99 which is pretending to be an STi and Gold STi Wheels.

If I see you driving around with altezza lights though - beware... If you need anything feel free to ask.

Welcome!

hi guys, just a few questions. I want to fit a GFB mach 1 BOV, but its a 96 and cant just fit the BOV with the triangle adapter thing, its gotta go on the rubber hoses that come off the intercooler.. Anyway can anyone give me some advise on this.. easy or hard job.. im gonna get a well known w/shop to fit & also wanna fit an atomic boost controller, Can anyone tell me what standard boost for a 96 rex is ?... also i have read on a the GFB website that its proven on a dyno that if you fit there b/controller but still set it @ standad boost, it will bring boost on a little earlier in the revs and have a little stronger pull if you know what i mean... Cheers any info would be great ..
