G'day all, I've been keeping a close eye on this site for a month or so, but now have a subi, so thought it was the ideal time to introduce myself.

Name is Darryl aka Daz & have just purchased a new STI. Looking forward to meeting everyone on the next pwrx cruise!

It is the first Subaru I've owned. I was in the market for a new car that doubles for a bit of track work, but is still comfortable enough as a daily driver. So glad I didn't go the FPV/HSV route, as I am absolutely speechless by the STIs performance.

Can't wait to get it on a track as it simply outperforms the street & no doubt, a license.

I took a standard WRX for a test drive & loved it, however, for track work, I felt I needed the extra braking power and gear box. As soon as I took the STI for a test drive, I was sold.

Bit excited aren't I... hahaha.

A little excited? thats fine I was over the moon when I picked mine up (and its a 2004), it's like having a 1500KG turbo child being brought into your life,and if you get bitten by the modification-bug then it will cost as much as a child :)

EDIT: STI > HSV/FPV every time
