Default Finally got around to introducing myself

Hi Perth WRX Members,

My name is Robert. Been a wrx owner since first obtaining my license back in 2009.

This was my first WRX and I instantly fell in love with Subarus after driving my GC8 for the first time. It was an MY00 model with the cream leather interior. I kept it stock apart from a few cosmetic changes and a sound system.

After enjoying my GC8 for almost 2 years, i finally decided to sell it and buy my favourite out of all the WRX models, the Pig I decided to go for the CS9 as the black leather interior, sunroof and Sti front lip already had me sold.

This is what my CS9 currently looks like:

It is currently stock with only the CS9 rims being powdercoated satin black and having a sound system. At the moment I dont get my license back till May 2013 so stage 1 mods will have wait closer to that date, no point putting money into it now if i cant drive it. I think im just going to do some cosmetic upgrades until then.

Let me know what you guys/girls think..

Thanks.

The rims look great powder-coated.

As per kid's enquiry - wtf, a year?

Thanks guys.

Funny story to how i lost my license actually.. Left my sister's engagement party and regretably decided to drink-drive for the first time. Got caught and got 6 months. 3 months in and was still driving during the day due to work commitments. Day i got a promotion from Western power got pulled over by the cops, car impounded and extra 9 months. Still had couple speeding fines from before i got done DUI and that put me over the 12 demerit point limit and got an extra 3 months on top. Just an unlucky run. Suppose the upside is i can save more money for mods and keep the kms low on my pig

Thanks Soksta, i take pride and joy in my subie and yes i DID work for WP haha. Had to tell them i no longer had my license after my car got impounded, seeing as i could no longer get to work and back. WP, no license=no job. Im now working with my uncle doing metal fabrication in malaga. Comes in handy though

Welcome, but in all seriousness thats not "an unlucky run" - hopefully you have wised up a bit and pulled your head in.

Car looks great (for a pignose ) - hard to beat a clean black car.....

Well IMO it was "an unlucky run" considering i wasnt speeding BOTH times i got pulled over, must be something against my black pig.
Must admit it is quite an effort to keep black clean but its worth it in the end
