Chris' 06 STI
 

Hey P-rex.

I've been lurking on the forums for a while now, and thought it was about time to introduce myself. :)

My names Chris, I'm 19. I've always been into cars, imports, v8's, supercars etc. But Ever since going for a spin in my mates GC8 6 years ago. I just had to have one! So with some hard work and saving i picked up my 06 STI. :D bit of a step up from the lancer i drove around in for 3 years...

Love the car, great performance, handling and really enjoyable to drive!

The car is pretty much stock atm but the Current Mods are;
-Exhaust
-full Alpine stereo (if you count a stereo as a mod)

Short term future goals are mainly cosmetic. Rims, Lowering, front lip.
Long term goals, well we'll see what the future holds!

Welcome aboard Chris. I had the exact same model (pig) and colour DGM. Such a good car and I wish I still owned it. Turbo back exhaust and tune will net you some awesome gains for relatively small dollars ($2.5K) and coilovers $1-2K

Thanks Dave, That's the plan, eventually... its got a dif back on atm, so the sound is good. TBE would be nice!!

What is the insurance premium on one like that? I'm also 19 and have a 2011 WRX (with mods though).. Wonder if it's similar?
