WRX04 Keypad module *FAULT*

Hi im new to this and was hoping someone could help me out. My wrx wont start, i took it to phoenix holden and they sorted it and told me it was the keypad. It worked for two days then stopped again so i rang them and explained to them the issue. They told me i had to take it subaru wangara. Thing is i work mon-sat so its hard to organise anything. It wont start at all unless you try for so long. IS THERE ANYONE WHO COULD HELP ME? Any suggestions? Or know of anyone who can do it?

Common brant alarm issue.

On phone so I cannot provide a link, but search brant and Subaru workshops.

Quite often than not, even when the keypad module has been resoldered or bypassed, the main Brant unit is also on its way out.

Easy to remove/bypass

... and replace with something else with a keypad. Otherwise stealing
your car will be as easy as stealing the keys.

no, if you bypass the brant system, your central locking and original immobilser still works, key has a transponder.you can install an aftermarket alarm system if you want but if your dumb enough to leave your car keys in a place where they can be stolen then its your fault
