Default Hello

Hi everybody!

This past weekend I became the proud owner of a MY02 WRC Blue Bugeye WRX!

I got her as a compromise "settling down" sports car and am loving her so far. Just needs that bottom end lag fixing.
Am interested in all things car advice, mods and will definitely be up for some cruises.

That's me done for now.

Cheers,
Jase

Welcome. Ypu will struggle to get rid of the lag anymore. Its pretty small as is already. Best you can do is try and get some higher torque numbers to help you reach boost faster.

Had plans before that but its always nice to see an impromptu review of the car you want to get.

Bone stock, but with a cannon on the back. Thinking of picking up a stock exhaust until I can free up funds for a "quiet" straight through including TBE and anything else induction/exhaust wise.
The previous owners put a double din touchscreen deck in there. Think they used a nice and easy harness? Nope! cut all the wires and wired it up wrong and just left it :P My second 'mod' will be to fix that up.

Yeah I know, but one can dream. Mostly just need to learn the takeoffs better. Coming from an R32 skyline which just hammered from any rev its going to take a bit of getting used to.

Thanks a lot mate. It was hard to decide on this one and the black one that was on sale here. Think the blue won it over.

For giggles have a few more pictures. All lovely phone quality.

I do have a proper DSLR, just need to take it out and get it posing.

The wheel arches have as much clearance as a 4x4 :P
