Default Hey all

Hey all, my name is Bobi I'm 19 years old. I've been on the forum for a while now, however I decided to wait to post up until I got my Wrx. About 5 months ago I found a Wrx that I fell in love with. I had seen it before on this forum and had always liked it so when I found out that it was for sale at a dealership I decided to go and have a look at it and instantly fell in love. So some time of negotiation later it was all mine. I have been out on a few of the recent cruises and cannot wait for more, great atmosphere, people and cars of course. Well that's about it sorry for the long read. Now to the car most of you will know the car as Poktrokts old car.

The car:
2009 my09 Wrx premium
Leather
Sunroof
18 inch Ultrex classic wheels
King springs
N1 auto front lip
Hella supertones
Defi boost gauge
Xforce tbe
Electronic boost controller
Verso tune from ASG

After owing the car for 5 odd months the only problems I had with it was arches rubbing on the wheel's and a yellow sticker for lowered suspension. The scrubbing was taken care of a week after purchase and no more rubbing has occurred. With the yellow sticker it took a few days to remove, however I am happy now due to getting certificates from the dealership to prove all modifications are legal which will keep the boys at the pits happy. I hope I hope to meet up with some of you guys at future events. That's all from me, thank you for reading.

wtf, you got yellowed for lowered springs when your wheels are clearly within the boundaries of the wheel arches?! Cops need a fucking ruler or tape measure on them, it doesn't even look low let alone illegal. Were you on a cruise/being a muppet or just a random stop?

Anyhow, welcome aboard!

Thanks for the welcome's. As for the sticker no I was not doing anything stupid and not on a cruise, had my grandparents in the car, as I was taking them home. I got pulled over for a random breath test, one of the officers was in a mood, he comes up to and says by the way I'm stickering you for your springs.

According to the pits newer model cars with traction control systems are not allowed to be modified in anyway, so I had problems with wheel size even though the rolling diameter was within regulations and even though the springs are legal hight they are not allowed. But due to having bought the car through a dealership, they had to prove that all modifications were legal for me too pass pits, because they are not able to sell illegally modified vehicles. (they also paid for the cost of pits which was nice )

What pits (and dealer) was this? If that law is true, I doubt a letter from a car dealership would hold any sway, because if that is the law then they have sold an illegally modified car and the pits would be under no obligations to pass your car. Sounds really fucking strange to me. The dealer did well by you! Good on them.
