1st WRX - GC8 :)
 

Hey guys bough a gc8 for a bargain of 4k down sides are small, auto, slight paint fade, front l/h side cv boot is gone, slight leaks could be cam seals. It was a great upgrade from a Tx3 I've always wanted one now I am a proud :D big plans for it first mod is set - manual conversion ill post some pics, also if anyone is wrecking an MY99 pm me :)

Manual conversion hey... Good luck! Would've been cheaper/easier buying a 7k gc8 :p

Yeah, I've been told that its gonna be pricey, luckily I live in a street riddled with rex's and rs's next door neighbour owns a mint 08 hatch Sti and owned a gc8 prior, so I'm surrounded by experience which is good. I would've loved a manual.. But I was restricted to a budget and I've always wanted a gc8 so couldn't say no :)

Just found a lone box for $800 4.44 ratio. Got quoted 1700 by kyp for a 5 speed Sti conversion kit, have yet to check JWS apparently they do great deals.
