Introduction: Nixs (09 WRX)
 

Hi Perth-WRX,

I've been lurking these forums for the last couple of weeks reading through all the great info you guys have posted up. I'm 27and in the past, I had never spent more than $3000 on a car.

Cars were nothing more than something to get me from A to B but the day I took that [B]Pearl White 09 WRX[/B] out for a test drive was the day my thinking changed. I loved driving it, it was so responsive and so much fun to put my foot down. It was more than just a method of transportation and I was disappointed to have to drive it back to the dealership.

Anyway, I got my finances sorted out and picked it up last week. I'm already looking through the forums for info on an after market exhaust and a tune up (I'm thinking verso at Evolution R for an Ultrex TBE exhaust).

Thanks again for all the info you've posted up, if it wasn't for these forums I may have gone with a Mazda 6 Auto!

Good thinking in regards to the mods, I would also HIGHLY recommend a set of front and rear swaybars which will fix the "boatiness" and you'd be all set!

Good job on the 09, nice model and nice colour! TBE + tune is a must. Swap out the stock rims for something around 18 x 8.5 +38 too for nice stance on the road :)
