Hi all , this is my first post on your forum , We applied the Ceramic Pro to catcha's BRZ a few weeks ago , thanks catcha for posting the link.
Yes Ceramic Pro is very different to Swissvax (which we also use) and it is not designed to have a wax applied to it , the wax would hinder the hydrophobic effect of the CP , also the life of the wax would be shortened as the CP would not allow it to bond well . As detailers the only way we have of testing the products we use is to apply them to our own cars and then accelerate their wear by spraying chemicals on them . We have done this extensively with CP over the last 12 months and have been unable to remove it with chemicals. We have also tested its heat resistance by applying it to non contact brake parts and it has not only withstood the heat but also the corrosive brake dust . We have also tested it on exhaust tips with success. The only way we have been able to remove it is with abrasion (machine polishing) As Adz has mentioned, purchasing the product is the easy part it's the prepping of the car which makes the most difference to the final result and how long the product will last. This is where many car dealers and some cheaper detailers have failed and given "paint protection" a bad name. |

And this is Trolley in a GOOD mood, catcha.
I saw it at no limits. Looks nice, I like it. But good luck keeping it clean! the wheels had a light coat of black dust when I had a gander... And when I touched them (coz I touch everything) it was kinda furry. Furry-feeling wheels. Latest trend.
