Default 2nd WRX but new to Perth WRX

Hello all,

My name is Elliot. I'm 20 years old and after working hard for a couple of years I am now the proud owner of a 2010 WRX Sedan! I though I would join up to Perth WRX after hearing good things about this group. I have recently owned a 97 GC8 WRX and am definitely a fan of the WRX. I'm looking to get to know other WRX owners around Perth, hopefully learn a few tips and tricks along the way and make my WRX uniquely my own.

I grew up in the sticks of Harvey down south competing in AutoX with the South West Touring Car Club which was a great experience.

If you have had any experience in working on / modifying / driving 2010 WRX's feel free to send me a message.

Thanks

Welcome aboard Elliott. We are a good bunch and there is plenty of knowledge available as well as a great collection of subaru technical data in the library here.

edit: FYI If anybody suggest you buy rotas and red mud flaps just give them the teejay nod and then ignore them completely

Welcome to the Perth WRX world young Elliot

Good for you on getting a late model WRX (albeit UGLY Betty) :P
Some members love ROTAS, Mudflaps, Hellatones, and panel wrapping and the leedy
if you like any of the above you'll fit in nicely

Only listen to half of what they say.
ROTA are a great alternative for dropping 3k on rims. That 2k difference is better spent on things like sway bars, a tune and Hellatones.

Fuck me: I have 3 out of 4!

Welcome Elliot. Good on you for going hard for a few years when you're young and getting a great car.
Plenty of knowledge buried on these forums if you dig it up. Go get bitten by the modding bug

I only have the Rotas, but I am looking at Hellatones. Will I be shunned if buy them? If it helps I will painting them black. I just want to the extra volume.
