Possible to change to the '03-'05 Peanut front end or the '06-'07 hawkeye front end, however you'll be up for a bonnet, guards, bumper, grilles, bumper support, and the front nose section of the shell underneath... the metal around the headlights changes between facelifts

Much, much, much easier & recommended to sell & just buy the later model, or get a set of the STI bugeye headlights which look much nicer!

Maybe i am weird but i think the STI bugeye is one of the best looking Subarus....just so clean, especially when wingless.

You are weird. I have a Bugeye STi and I much prefer the hawkeye with the high wing.

Nope, silver Bug STi with blacked headlights, bolt on arches, fat wheels and a cage = purest of all dak dak porn!

Hawkeyes look good, but mirror the mainstream designs of mazda a little too closely. Overall they went progressively downhill from Peanut design-wise IMO.

I used to hate bug eyes. Bought one and it grew on me but I still prefer peanuts!
