Default Happy new owner of a WRX

Hello there!
Just brought a 2001 WRX n couldn't be happier! I've joined this forum to get advice and help in upgrading. It's only been 2 weeks that I've owned the car for but I've got the mod bug bad already 😜
Looking forward to getting to meet up n chat with Subi enthusiasts.

Ewwwww... a bug Welcome.

Mods really depend on budget and usage so give people a rough ideal what you are after:

- Catback exhaust, rear sway bar and lowered progressive springs are a good start for a budget daily.
- If you are lucky enough to have more money then you can always upgrade brake pads/disc/fluid, clutch, turbo, intercooler, injectors, downpipe and tune...

The best mod you can get is seat time nothing more fun then going 110% on the track to learn the limits of your car.

Plenty of driveway threads to go through and see what mods/combinations have been used in the past with various results:

I also found this one useful when looking at turbo/intercooler combinations so you can get an idea of what power is achievable :
