If so its an MY03/03 STi, looked hawt with the S203 rear wing on it.
One of the most appealing WRX's in my opinion, hence my congratulations if this is the same car.

Yes, thanks guys it is the same car!
However she seems too be a little sick already
By a little sick I mean that there is a developing tapping noise coming from LHS pistons, turbo or something else in the area. Either way the sound gets worse with higher revs and she is now off the road. Does anyone have an idea on what this could be?

Take it to Doug rather than have all the internet mechanics diagnose it for you.

Could be minor right through to big end bearings shot (quite possibly that going from description)

OK, my car just got out of S-Technic on Thursday. I was worried about how high the boost was on 1.5 bar, but a mechanic there said that the engine should be able to handle it. Looking at the posts for the previous owner at one stage this car was running 1.8 bar! But I'm wondering if I should be dropping her all the way down and putting a manual boost control in the dash.
