Hi Everyone,

Just thought I'd chime in and introduce myself, my name's Shane and I've recently moved here from the east.

I've been without a rex for the past couple of years, the last one I had was a MY05 STi, however last week I purchased a low km MY12 Spec R Sedan. I've previously owned quite a few rex's and I'm looking forward to years of enjoyment with my latest purchase.

I'll post some pics of some of my past cars when I get around to it..

Apologies for the delay, here's a few old busses I've owned over the years...


The one that started it all, MY99 WRX. (Unfortunately I can't find any pics of it at the moment..)

Well and truly in my rice phase with my CSE5. I'm glad that fad went by quickly, although I still think I succeeded in making a bug look good.







The one that got away... The best STi I have ever owned (Apart from the track car) purchased from over here in the West in 2006 with a mere 37,000km on the odo and sold in 2010 with 52,000km, yes I still kick myself everyday - I should never had sold it! The last pic is of Dean Herridge giving it a strap in Dutton Rally where he teamed up with the previous owner.









Grocery getter MY04 WRX Wagola, ended up dropping a MY02 STi long motor in it after doing a big end at the drags one night.



Once the Version 5 departed I purchased this gem of an MY05 STi with really low k's (32,000) and an MRT XB kit installed. This one only last 6 or so months, I got bored with it pretty quick after having the Version 5. It's actually for sale again currently on carsales.





The all mighty track hack! MY99 Version 5 STi Type R V Limited with full JDM MY03 STi V Limited running gear incl dash, twin scroll in this thing was awesome!!







And now my current MY12 STi Spec R, nothing crazy with this one, I guess I've matured over the years. Currently it only has a 3 inch TBE and tuned by Maximum Motorsport, All I've done is add a genuine lip and swapped the bootlid for a WRX one, I like the understated look these days... (Will get better photo's soon)

As nice as G3's are...the 2 door v5's take a lot of beating. A great collection.
