Yeah right, they are rated to ~980c continuous, allegedly. Will give mine another 6 months, and see how it holds up.

Have you spilled anything on it? My power steering blew a while ago, dumped onto the wrapped (DEI) up-pipe. Ruined that within a few days.

Nah dont mind at all at talking about turbo blankets i like talking about technical stuff its good. In terms of spooling I say it will be noticeable on bigger turbo not the ihi ones mind you i can touch my beanie with out melting my hand off even after a hard drive.

In terms of perrin they probably just re-brand PTP which is not bad thing.

I go for the pulverized lava rock ones simply cos they can handle more heat you never know when you going to be hitting that barrier on summer day/track day.

Turbo can be touched even with a hand on during a dyno pull https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OaX4J6da6fU

Thanks! Feels great man! certainly enough for me. I know it can be pushed further with these mods but wanted to have peace of mind at my track days!

Maybe E85 and Headers down the road 1-1.5 years but still happy with it as is now.

nope. perfectly clean.

its just started to get really dry and brittle and kinda flaking apart. i noticed it when i changed turbos recently. its not bad yet. but i think it will continue to get worse with time

Another update some late christmas presents and new year present's for my narrow betty.

White Line BSK 011 Kit BSF30Z 22mm Front BSR49XZ 22mm Rear bars with end links KLC139 and KLC182. I Paid $535 Fucking steal!

Stock bar was tiny and thin as fuck

Really Happy with the kit helps out quite abit very tight turning and almost got rid of roll completely currently i have front on Stiff and rear on middle. I hated fiddling around with adjustable end-links if had to do it again id buy model specific like Kart boys was so fucking annoying kept moving.
Let you know if my car still tripoding at track lol.

Also picked up Racing timing belt kit of mr tony thanks dude (will be installed end of year)

Also did a small mod on my seats to get more bolstering following a thread on Nasoic basically you un clip the cage at the back of your seat only the top 2 lets you sink in the seat a tiny bit more

Need antilift kit as you can see my stock hardware has seen better days.
