Default Just bought myself a MY00 Club Spec 4 Hatch

Hey guys,

I just bought myself a MY00 Club Spec 4 Hatch.

The car has done 170,000Ks and is in very good condition (full sevice history).
This is my second MY00 Hatch as i owned one in 2000 which got stolen.
Guess you could call this a mid life crisis

The car is pretty stock other than whiteline front and rear sway bars, pedders lowered springs and a MRT TBE system.

Its not quite fast enough just yet, but i am planning on getting Throttle Happy to swap the ECU for a ECULABS flashed ECU and do a road tune.

I have made an album which i have put up some pics for those who care to have a look.

I am also led to believe that this car at one stage came over to Melbourne from Perth.

The Build Number is 227

I also have a MY06 Forester XT and have only ever read good things about him on the OZFOZ site.

I am open to suggestions for other tuners who can reflash a MY00 ECU.

Or would i be better off going down the Apexi Power FC path - or similar?

Yep, checked the album and I'm jealous!

That is one tidy hatch, I searched high and low for a CSE4 hatch at a time when there were none about for sale - I guess that's the challenge when there were only 50 of them brought into the country...

Good job!

After doing a bit of research i decided to go with the Power FC option (still not sure who i am going to get to tune the car).

I have also installed a Process West TMIC and GFB recirculated BOV.

I have bought a VF28 turbo which i will install when i install the Power FC.
