Default My first WRX!

Hi All,

I have finally picked up my first Subaru WRX, a 2012 WRX Premium MY12 sedan. It is my dream model and also my first turbocharged car.

The car is completely stock and is in great condition. I am new to the turbo scene but I absolutely love driving this car!

It would be terrific if I could get some great tips and useful suggestions for some tasteful modifications from you fellow Subaru owners!

I would love to hear from users of this forum who have the same model vehicle and also from anyone who have some helpful ‘starter’ tips to share!

Happy to post a photo of my new toy!

Cheers everyone!

Hi mate and welcome
Post some pics up of your ride . First mods make sure it has a decent set of rubber on it and some decent brake pads . Then get a decent Fuel pump Walbro etc make sure it is ethanol compatible or you will probably change it down the track. Have a good 3 port mac boost solenoid fitted, a good quality exhaust system eg Butler , Invidia and then have the car retuned to suit the exhaust .

That will free the car up and should keep you happy for a few months lol . Once you start you will always want more.

A good decent set of rubber if it doesn't already have some eg.. Yokohama S drives , Bridgestone RE003 etc are one of the best bang for buck up grades . The fuel pump Is a precaution as the stock one doesnt flow the greatest with performance mods.

Then the exhaust , solenoid and retune Undo most of detuning that the factory does for our market . past these mods things start to get more serious Suspension and brake upgrades , Intercooler upgrade , E85 fuel tune , Turbo upgrade then internal work.
