Dccd Pro to V5 STI Group N CLUSTER wirirng
9 Attachment(s)
Hello..
I am after information from anyone who has attempted this mod.. I have a v5 sti (Aus delivered) (non DCCD) fitted with a 06 STI DCCD transmission i have purchased a DCCD pro controller I am wishing to run a Group N 10k rpm instrument cluster (with DCCD) and want to use the outputs from the DCCD pro to run the DCCD display in the group N cluster. Both clusters have exactly the same number of plugs on top for the 3 green plugs of the instrument cluster wiring harness to plug into.. Ie ... as far as i can tell there is no extra harness required There are 3 plugs on the v5 sti harness to the instrument cluster numbered left to right as they plug into the instrument cluster as you are facing it in a RHD car. PLUG A ( 4 wires) Green/ yellow stripe Blue/ white stripe white/ green stripe green/ white strip PLUG B (8 wires) yellow / black stripe 1 yellow red/ yellow stripe black/blue stripe green/black stripe black/green stripe green/red stripe blue/grey stripe 3 PLUG C (13wires) blue/red stripe 5 green/black stripe pink 4 red/white stripe blue/white (faint) white/red stripe green/ white stripe red orange/white (faint) 6 Yellow/blue stripe purple black/white stripe black The DCCD pro instructions claim that using the above WIRING diagram (supplied for Version 5 STI type R JDM) it should connect like this.. FUNCTION / DCCD CONTROLLER / WIRING HARNESS AUTO / WHITE / YELLOW/BLACK 1 20% / YELLOW / RED/BLACK 40% / ORANGE / GREY/BLUE 3 60% / RED / PINK 4 80% / BLUE / RED/BLUE 5 LOCK / BROWN / ORANGE 6 Problem is.. no one plug has all the correct wires in it. Furthermore even if we include all the plugs.. (please see numbered plugs 1-6) There is no Red/black wire!! So what gives.. my questions are... which of the 3 plugs goes to the the DCCD display? what wires to i splice into..? and what are the corresponding plugs labelled 1 2 and 3 encircled in black on the last diagram.. cheers |
