Greetings...first time WRX owner.
 

Hi All I take delivery this week of my 2016 WRX special edition in white. I'm a self confessed car nut that has had some great cars over the years but this is my first WRX. I can't Wait to get it and start a few casual mods. I've read the CVT doesn't like too much extra power so I may look at a stage 1.5? Upgrade but will look into it. I was extremely disappointed to see the later Rexxies have lost their trademark rumble, listening to some YouTube videos there is nothing I like so far that doesn't sound farty compared the the early rumble. Aw well there is other bits that make it great, twin scroll etc?

Welcome Daz, hope you enjoy the new purchase and be sure to put up some pics when you take hold of it! While the rumble may be gone, the twinscroll setup is very good. :D

What's a stage 1.5?

Half way between stage 1 & stage 2.

haha technically correct...

I believe it was cutback, tune, air intake? not sure if its just a softer tune maybe to protect the CVT..
