New Impreza (but not a WRX) owner
Hello all
New Subaru owner here. Nothing exciting though, just a standard 2010 Impreza 2litre hatch (not a WRX). First Subaru and even though I'm and east coaster and don't have a WRX this site was very useful when doing some pre purchase research and for the PDF version of some of the manuals. The car will be just a daily driver and more enjoyable than the people mover I've been driving recently. My motoring excitement is obtained from riding motorcycles. The Impreza will shortly need new tyres and there seems to be a few secondhand 17 inch OEM rims for sale with newish tyres as their owners of these WRX's have gone to something bigger. I've done some research on what fits but will post something in an appropriate forum as being a Subaru newbie I'd like to be certain before buying anything. Cheers Michael |

Greetings
To my knowledge, wrx wheels and tyres on a non-turbo will fit fine. There will be a touch more road noise and ride stiffness. Use pressures as recommended for the tyres not the car, a bit lower may be ok for comfort v. life. 2 wheels for motoring excitement, yes. |
