@Daz, thanks mate... much appreciated, the goal I'm hoping to achieve is 350awhp and 25 PSI or thereabouts, not really fuss if it's a little less and the application would be for street use, I don't think I can ever bring myself to floor it on the track because of insurance purpose but hey you never know, I said I'd be happy with the VF35 a while ago but here I am tinkering more hahahhaa... but even if I do track it I am very certain it will be once in a blue moon kinda thing
That is because US market only got the wrx in '01 and sti in '04. Sorry, forgot that US parts manufacturers dont believe in classic wrx.

Hi guys, thanks for the reply.

@Vussute yes I am planning to do that mate, finalky came to my sense hahahha... which is why I was asking what other supporting mods I need to make it happen so I don't end up retuning again and again.

@Bram.... so that would be the correct one to get then?

@Daz, don't think E85 would be an option mate, my missus wouldn't approve the concept of oating more on fuel, even at 98 she's already complaining why I dont get 91 hahahah... geez life is hard hey... so yeah we'll definitely stick with the 98 Tune.

Thanks again guys

Hope to hear from you soon

Ohhh and also one other thing guys, with the Dom 1.5 Xtr, should I go with the 7cm housing or 8cm? Obviously as I mention earlier I want the ones that are with as minimal lag as possible, obviously that points out to the 7cm housing but I'm just having second thiught because Justin BYE said to go with 8cm because the lag difference is next to none and maybe 100rpm but gains up top much better.

Any thoughts guys? Or am I comparing something that is neither here nor there?

Thanks again guys

8CM will be fine.

ID1000 CC Top feed injectors

The CDF Racing GC8 top feed conversion rails.

Walbro 255 Intank pump.

You can use the existing hard lines through the car.

Sard or Turbosmart Fuel pressure regulator. The regulator is important particularly given the age of the car.

Don't listen to people who say not to bother with one because quite frankly they don't know what they are talking about if they suggest that.

It's a fairly big job doing the conversion properly as it will involve taking the inlet manifold off but as you're changing the turbo removing it will make it all easier and give you access to what needs changing.

Thanks Daz, much2 appreciated

So if I get the Injector Dynamic ID1051x would that be all right? and also get the CDF Top Feed Conversion Rails? I've already got the Walbro 255 in there.

One other question and sorry to be a pain only because I'm trying to get out of this in the most cost effective way after spending so much on the engine build, 6 speed conversion etc .

I know Top Feed is definitely the better way to go but most of the workshop I spoke to today said it's a big job like you mention too and all of them pretty much gave a figure of around $1200-$2000 plus all the parts I would need to buy which equates to about another $1500.

What I'm wanting to know is whether or not I can get away with an upgraded Side Feed Injector instead of Top Feed, because for starters online vendors like Pro Speed and Car Mods sell Deatschwerk 1000cc side feed for $899 and the workshops I called said fitting a side feed without the need to do the conversion would be less than half the price especially because the Turbo Bolts On.

Again I'm sorry to be a pain and it's not that I'm trying to go against everyone's advice but purely only because of monetary concern.

I mean if I was still single, different story wouldn't think about asking this hahaha

please let me know what you guys think?

Thanks again heaps for all the help and info

All i did was by the 1000cc DW injectors plus the top mount fuel rail kit. Pretty certain whole lot was only $1200. And it was alsso just some bosch connectors or something.

Just make sure you get the kit that doesnt include the TGVs as the rails are shorter
