Never mind the boost gauge, I think you need a full stop or a comma, that shit hurt my eyes.

If you're going to get the car tuned, forget a manual boost controller. Your tuner will decide on the amount of boost that is safe for your car.

Try Tokyo Motorsport, Maximum Motorsport, Race Torque... though Evolution R sounds more suitable to your budget....

I've got a Possum Link computer that came out of a 01 Bug, older tech now but a much better way to go than adding bits without a re-tune $350, completely replaces your existing computer.

There's a wealth of knowledge on this site, do some solid research or speak with a reputable tuner to get recommendations. People on this site are not likely to help you with mods they consider dodgy, which means you're looking at over $1000 for a good tune to get more boost.

A boost gauge is simple and cheap to install if you don't care if your engine goes bang though.

Also offering a couple of cases of beer might be more effective than money, don't ask me why I do not know. However ask again, after doing some research and making a few posts, ask a few questions and get to know people first.

For the coilovers google diy garage, they can help you install your coil overs yourself, my cousin tried it.

Manual boost controller you say, can't wait to read your popped engine thread.
