Hi all,

New to the board and thought I would say hi. Just got myself a MY99 WRX as a toy/project.

This will be my 4th scooby having started with them when I was in the UK. Moved to Victor Harbor in SA about 8 years ago. I used to have a MY14 STi but sold that after the children came along....

They they are a bit older and I have a little more time (when I'm not at work) I thought it was time for another.

I have always loved the classic GC8 in WRB with the gold wheels so that is what I decided to go for.

She has all the STi engine short block, forged internals, STi turbo, MRT uprated intercoolers, MRT full exhaust system, suspension, fuel pump, uprated brakes etc etc - so most of the big stuff has been done (except the gearbox - which I'll have to look at sometime). Tuned by S&J in Adelaide and last dyno run was 200Kw ATW.

Few cosmetic issues and other things that I want to change - but have a big boat shed she now lives in that I have turned into sort of a workshop for it :)

I currently slowly working away at it bit by bit in the evenings :)

Nice. Not sure about the wheels, but otherwise nice. Cool plates too.

yes the wheels I'm thinking about getting a set of possibly black rims at some point in time...

Just slowly working away at the paint and body work at present. Hopefully will be getting a nice new lick of paint in the not to distant future, once I have finished all the prep work.....

slow process but I enjoy chipping away at it :)
