Default The beach beast

Hi All, Im back in Oz after about 12 years away, I used to be an active member of the RSliberty forum, but seems that has gone really quiet. I do see a lot of familiar names on here though.

This is what I basically built and got registered just before i was sent OS last time, and its sat in the shed since. after i came back, got it out and registered again, then started added all the lifting parts.

Its a 95 LX impreza shell that has a V2 STI half cut and interior, gen 1 liberty rear end with 99 wrx hubs and brakes. the motor blew, so has a GTB long block (same as V3 STI with steel head gaskets) in it now, ECU is the V2 STI but with a prova chip in it.

the lift was done with SF forester read struts and springs, and SG XT forest fronts with SF springs, put in 22mm sway bars at the same time and replaced all the bushes with nolathane.

runs a 1-4 straight cut syncro 4.44 box and rear plated RX turbo LSD.

2 pics, before lift just after re-rego and after lift with the spunky gravel express rear wheel carrier

I built this over about 5yrs, you've possibly got the Gravel Express carrier as it went east when I sold it in 2012 then was written off in a hail storm, if you want pics/details contact me on FB Tom Haeld, cant remember how to post pics here but if you go through my past posts ( pimpreza, not Pimpreza1 )there should be a full build of it on here.
