Heard there was a high speed chase down Beaufort street. Hope it isn't that.

Not enabled by default on 2011+
Not enabled by default on 2011+
Was also suggested to me by some one working at a dealership to not enable it as it makes life harder (possibly for the service guys or for the owner), even though it can potentially stop the car from being stolen.

Hope the owner gets the car back in one piece or written off/burnt out.
Waste of a car but if my car was stolen and trashed I wouldn't want it back :(

Fark :( Which suburb was it stolen from?

I'm sure its the same way they always do.... got the keys I bet.

They all have the keypad, but most people don't bother enabling as its painful. Seriously considering activating mine with the amount of thefts going on these days!!

To my knowledge, none of our recent WRX's have the keypad enabled for some reason. You have to request the dealer enable it.

edit: beaten like a ginger

I am contemplating enabling mine also but worried about the keypad reliability. My job doesn't really allow for me to rock up late to work..
