Default New merging method trial

For those of you south, I would be avoid entering the cockburn part of the freeway during peak hour.

Long story short; a car entering the freeway has to give way to cars on his right regardless of who is in front.

Really? it seems crazy to me to have to give way to a car that is behind you.

To you or I whom can get to 100KM/H (or more) to merge at speed it does... however from my experience very few people can actually get much faster then 70KM/H and then cut in front of you and fuck you / everyone else's traffic flow.

This new way the car at speed on the freeway has right of way and the slow Karnts have to wait. On the flip side if I am doing 100KM/H and then a slower car on the freeway is there I have to give way... yeah nah.

So, potentially the car giving way may have to come to a complete stop and then be able to accelerate to freeway speeds? Sounds like a high speed rear end crash waiting to happen.

Only idiots will (so yes plenty of poeple) and normal people will start looking for the gap and get closer to freeway speed as soon as they hit the on ramp.

If you're at freeway speed as the merge lane ends then the car behind you will still be behind you, so you wouldn't need to give way. It's for the fucktards that drop down to 50 or 60KMH in the merge lane and then pull across in front of freeway traffic and immediately fuck the flow.

Exactly the people I will not be giving an inch to from now on put your foot down or use alternate roads that you feel comfortable doing the speed limit.

Why should the car already on the freeway give way to a car entering and potentially slowing the flow of traffic?

If you are in your own lane doing 100kph why should you give way to a car that wants to enter, i know its polite and all but it makes no sense to slow the whole figgin issue up!

It works very well in bigger cities than ours with greater traffic flow so why can't it work here?
