New laws have were passed in June. It is now illegal to use radar detectors for purpose of avoiding speed cameras.
Take your car to WAW, for 60bucks you can drive as fast as you like all night. |

^No, all those devices are meant to be banned now according to what I've read.
|
Correct. $1,200 fine +7 points if in your car, operational or not.
Operational, may mean just in the vehicle, switched off, or not connected. Jammers.. etc.. same. Date is 12 Oct. |
hence why I've noticed a lot of V1's going cheap on Marketplace ;)

Ok
Best remove it |
If you're keen to run the gauntlet there is several detectors that are RDD immune. Meaning they can't be picked up.
Only need to mount them in a stealth manner... Sent from my SM-N976B using Perth-WRX mobile app |
the good 1s are intrinsic, as they don't radiate a electrical pulse, even when you turn off the detector, cheap 1s will give off a signal for a period of time after you turn them off..
