I run a link, Been through 2 motors, 3 clutches, 2 gearboxes over the years , still smooth as silk ,after 12 years ! runs mid 12s @21psi on forged pistons in a '99

Defiantly no flex fuel , unfortunately in WA with limited supply you need to make a choice . Either stay BP98 and keep the good old possumlink, Tune for E85 and store it at home and do fuel runs to be able to use constantly on the car, or move on to a newer ecu. The Possum Link was a great bit of kit , but compared to the latest ECUs its like a Iphone 3 vs an iphone 6.

Not only do you get the option of flexfuel with most new ECUs but the resolution in mapping , coldstart , individual cylinder correction , Wideband support, and the ability with sensors to monitor and safeguard your motor and ancillaries .

Good luck starting on E85 on a cold morning with a Possum Link as well . There comes a time when you need to write down the pros and cons on a piece of paper , unfortunately your 10 year old Possum Link is more like 20 Year old technology. Even though it might do the job it just isn't in the same league as current ECUs.

Your car may run 12s or whatever on a possum link but with more ability to monitor and control an engine with the new ECUs your kidding yourself if you think you wont have gains upgrading , no matter how many engines you have run on it. The ability to monitor EGTs oil pressure and temp , Fuel pressure , Wideband lambda , barometric pressure , and knock enable the tuner to push the motor closer to its limit safely . Also setting up correction tables to save your motor when factors change and vary out of preset limits.

May be time to look at new engine management Vi-Pec , Link G4 , Haltech , Adaptronic ,AEM , Motec and the new Microtech range all offer Flex fuel . Some are cheaper than others and some offer different features . Talk to your tuner or one that you wish to use and see what they like using . Explain to them what you want to achieve and then make a decision .

In the long run you will save yourself time and money upgrading from a Possum Link.

Car wont start ?????

Battery new and fully charged , plenty of fuel .
Engine turns strongly but will not fire .
I have a feeling the immobiliser is the culprit .
I have tried dis connecting the battery , but had no effect .
Any suggestions guys ?
