Link g4+ tune install price for my 99
 

Hi all

Recently got a quote from all star garage for link g4+ install and tune on a my99 gc8 wrx. For 3050

Was wondering if this is a reasonable price and if anyone has done it before and could share some feed back

Which model Link G4+ ? There is like 4 or so different versions. Plug in version. Or wire in Xtreme, thunder, storm etc.

But thats probably about right. The ECU is like 2k. Plus AIT sensor etc. Plus fit it and dyno tune it.

Not sure if it will fit but I have one here out of a MY 01, it's a complete replacement unit with the box that plugs into the computer for tuning etc. comes in original box

that will be a fair bit older than the G4+ with less features.

The ASG price would be the plugin board, IAT sensor, and tune
Price is ok, i was going to buy my own hardware ($1700 ex NZ)

BYE performance can also install + tune and quoted a bit cheaper than ASG - few members have had tunes from them and been happy.

I can personally recommend BYE my car has been superbly tuned by them.

Check with Mao at Evo R too. His install prices are very competitive.

Yeah, all I know is it had antilag enabled, I bought the car about 7yrs ago and took it straight out as I wanted it back to stock.

So not only does Mao now offer ECUTEK, he can also tune LINK?

yeah sounds about right from them i have a link on my car, tuned by allstar,i havent had any issues with my car and also has antilag, best way to do it is to look around first.
