Vintage car drivers can't do a hillstart without one.

YouTube - ‪Standard GC8s Can Go OK‬‏ That moment aside, the rest of the day was clean.. for everyone actually, bar a Skyline which did some minor fender damage. Thank you to all who ran the various events - from scrutinisers to officials to Subaru for making this fantastic car we all love so much Well done to all the Subi drivers out there in the hill climbs - 100% GC8s, with the exception of Rob's amazing Lib. I had a blast this past 3 days. If I wasn't racing I was talking about it, drinking while talking about it or talking about boobs while talking about it - all with various groups of like-minded people. Made for a good time!

Had a blast this weekend. Was good to see more of the Albany locals getting involved through the Great Southern Street Machines club.
Also I think Rob's fastest time was set when he was running to catch the last 20 seconds of the driver's briefing

Once again, I had an absolute blast at Albany. The weather held out for a change, and we had some dry racing.
First up, my youngest son & I did the Motorkhana on Saturday at the CBH grain silos. If you're really up for some excitement, get in the passenger seat with a 12 year old driving! Then on Sunday they had the Round the Houses, featuring the 40th Anniversary of the Charger: I didn't take any pics of the racing, as we forgot the camera (sorry about the phone photos). Monday I was running in the Mt Clarence Hillclimb, and I wasn't the only Suzuki (all my other cars are still broken: and a lot of other interesting vehicles: NOW FOR THE VIDEOS Good to see more of the Albany locals having a run too: ... and I was getting a little too much tyre smoke off the line too: Driving the crappiest car and having just as much fun!

Nothing for the hilclimbs yet.
The Round the Houses are up at Natsoft Kudos to Alex, who was fourth outright and first in class in the khana I managed to place 23rd out of 24 - and that guy only drove one of the courses! edit: forgot that they have it all up on twitter now as it happens.
