Twitter was doing live timing @speedeventserie but you need to know car numbers.

Results are up for the Windfarm and Mt Clarence

Well done to Mitch, taking out the 4WD class at Mt Clarence in 30.750 seconds - damn quick! Rob took the class win at the Windfarm in Prototype.

I was glad just to not be the slowest car

^^^^ Good job Mitchell. Not bad for your fist time down there. Looks like a picked a good time to get out of 4WD class.

Was an awesome weekend of racing!

Have never done either of those hillclimbs and was really happy with how the event was run

Managed to take out the 4WD class at the Windfarm on Saturday by just over a second which was awesome! Also was 4th outright in the times so was the fastest non hillclimb special out there and I think even beat a few of them hehe!

Mt. Clarence was a different story as I had to bail back to perth before lunch and luckily managed to squeeze in a 3rd run of 31.090 in the morning by jumping in with the odd numbered cars on their practice run! Michael Grogan was a champ and helped me get the extra run before leaving, however I missed out on running on a dry warm track in the avo and ended up 4th in class being beaten by just 0.34 of a second... would love to have seen what I may have done in an afternoon run with a nicer track hehe!

Was some great cars and awesome driving out there and big congrats to Alex and Mitchell for giving it a good flogging also!

Big big thanks to Ryan and Mick at Ovaboost for getting my ignition woes sorted at the last minute to get the car running right for the weekend, next time with some better tyres I wanna chuck a bit of Blaise Paris action in and keep up with the Hillclimb special open wheeler boys lol!!!

Great event and thoroughly recommend it to anyone wanting something different to the old mc stuff, I even heard the motorkhana was awesome too!

Will post some vids soon as I get a chance, lost some of my footage from Mt. Clarence but will get my side camera footage up asap

^ Look forward to seeing that, Rob. Well done on your results on the weekend! You must be stoked with your Windfarm standings.

And Mitch, well done on the Mt C win!! I don't know what ratios you've got (I assume 4.444 in the RA?) but my 4.11 was not even getting me past 3rd gear on the run to the chicane. You're in 4th by half way! My lack of grunt as well?

Yeah not to sure, it is an ra. But im only learning about the whole car racing scene being first time racing cars.had car since the ses hillclimb at collie at the start of the year thats about all. But i was in 4th by the cones. Other than that me wrx is all stock apart from a apexi filter and 3inch exhaust. Maybe some coilovers and semi slicks might make me a bit better? Or a cosworth 2.2 stoker kit in the little rig haha not just yet i dont reckon while im only checking out what its all about.

Yours seemed to go pretty decent for the minimal mods.

Handling/suspension is where most of the shiz is...strip the interior a bit & pull out AC/stereo if it's a dedicated track car.
