LCC Darling 200 Rally- 12th November 2011
 

The Darling 200 scheduled for Saturday November 12th is round 6 of the WA Clubman series and the final rally for 2011.
The WA Clubman series is only open to 2WD cars and was originally created as an avenue to enter rallying with shorter distances and lower entry fees than full blown State Championship rallying.

These days all other Clubman Cup rounds are run as a "piggy back" events to the State Rally Championship. The Darling 200 is the only stand alone Clubman Cup rally in the series. This means that the often spectacular 2WD cars will run ahead of the 4WD cars.

It is a good chance to see iconic RWD rally cars from the 70's & 80's such as Escorts and Datsuns competing against more contemporary 2WD machines.

The rally will again use the ball bearing gravel roads of the Jarrahdale Forests SW of Perth. This is the only rally of the year where competitors will use the organisers' road book rather than their own pace notes.
