Is this basically the double skidpan at AHG but timed? It's a series but you can compete in as many or as few as you like yes? If so, im in!

Its a series that encompasses the whole rac facility.
Both skidpans that link onto the track.

They also have rounds at barbagallo raceway im pretty sure.

Just bumping this thread back up since it's nearly time...

How many of you have signed up for the whole series?

I have a few noob questions i'm hoping you pros can help answer:
(I have also read the pdf here http://www.clubracer.net.au/wp-conte...-and-Entry.pdf)

As i understand it, the only main things i need for this sprint series, (in addition to the regular requirements of a regular AHG skidpan day) is a 1kg fire extinguisher, and a AASA Club Racing license AASA - Australian Auto Sport Alliance - Document details, which as i understand it, is different to the CAMS license, necessary for No Limits events...

Also, i can sign up to this series as an individual yes? Dont need to be part of the wrx owners club or anything?

Last question....there are 2 all wheel drive classes...restricted and open...since my car is stock, im guessing i will be in the restricted class? What are these restrictions?

Just need a CAMS license but you need to be a member of a CAMS affiliated club which the WRX owners club is.

I'm keen to have a go at this during the year but don't think I'll be ready for the March 25th event. Can you enter on an event by event basis? (I saw someone else had asked earlier in the thread but didn't see an answer).

Yeah man you can enter event by event...

If you sign up for the whole series at once, you will save $120 though...

Also i checked and they also accept CAMS L2S license, so i am in the process of getting that through No Limits Car Club....

I'm not entering the whole series (I'm not in a competitive car + there's a few clashes of dates) but I plan to do a round here and there.

I'll also be helping out with the officiating. Time to give a bit back! (read: give back a bit of time... Burke = +5sec penalty before he's even left the starting line. Every run. Every round.)
