Thanks Dean. I'm going to slowly start having a play with the shock settings soon, I haven't even looked at what they are set at yet so hopefully that will help me shave a bit more time off in the coming rounds.

Mmmm. So i've been silent on the forum regarding Burkes result on Sunday. But I have spoken to him about it! So now I congratulate him on the forum. Nice job son, nice job.

Nice

Great lines, snagged most of the turn in markers, held 3rd at the end of straight, resisited the urge to turn in too early down the back and relatively smooth too. Nice. |

Yeah Justin is a solid driver that's for sure. Interesting comparing some different lines between him and Matt's Flood-built car, particularly that last 'S' before the last finishing straight. Justin (and me too) take it wider, a smooth curve; Matt held it inside for a tighter line.
I've seen that with more power and grip you can afford to take that tighter yet shorter line - slower cars (E.g stock Rex on streets) need a wider arc to get that power down effectively whilst trying to keep the speed up through the corner.

I am still doing a bit of experimenting with a few different lines as i am still very much getting used to the car and how it reacts and handles.
I agree that the lines that justin was using are good but i am just sussing if there are any gains to be made in the new car with some tweaks to the lines i use. The next round uses the infield twice so i will go back to how i would normally drive it and can make some comparisons. Matt |

If you haven't already, get in for August because the Porka club has booked out the am session so spots will be limited.

And thanks for the comments guy's, it's good to know I'm doing something right! Also interested to hear opinions on where I could improve as well, so if you think I could be doing something better let me know. |
