Bump

Entries close in a couple of weeks. Seems there will be a pretty serious field of evos / sti's entering.

No entry list yet so a heap of things are just rumours but the field looks like it will include the following:

GTR's

John O'Dowd or Tolley Challis in the fabcar / metropolis gtr.
Jean Paul vanlounhout (sp?) in his gtr
Rullo in one of his GTR's

Evo / sti.

Even heard a rumour about a certain mr melitsky in a IX. Those that have been around a while will remember steve's original circa 1996 red wrx and then v6 grey sti that wiped the floor in the early 2000's. Lovely guy too.

I find it hard to believe jonesy wont be back to defend his title. If it is not in the fabcar GTR then one can only imagine it will be in the epic IX.

I am sure i have forgotten a couple of people and then there is a chance some people from the east will come over to but i think if you can do well in that field you can be very happy with yourself.

I am probably going to enter but he car is still being fixed after the dramas in tassie so assuming we can get it all done in time then i will more than likely enter.

Should be a great event.

If he runs the 9 it will have to be exibition class or a heap of changes to get it into the rules.

Wont be in the GTR.

Brendon - the Tolli/John decision should be done by now, had a discussion about it earlier in the week but thats about it.

Id love to see the changes done to get it in the rules! Franz in a 10 and Jones in a 9 would be a great battle to watch!

It would be but to be fair to Franz he is in a ADM full fat X on pump fuel in showroom class versus jonesy's tie rod, carbon fantastic, plastic window, jungle juice sipping, 2 point whatever stroker IX is hardly a fair fight.

I think it would be awesome to see jonesy with no rules up against Pete Rullo in his gtr with no rules. That would be a much fairer fight.

I think if jonesy wanted to go in modern hewould be betteroff togo and lease a caged IX and putsome of thegood bits in it rather than having to do a monumental amount of work to his current car.

I Agree on all counts, i was more meaning if Jones had a IX in a similar spec (downgraded his current or leased one) as Franz's X, that would be great to watch those two go at it through out the event. Wouldnt be fair at all if Jones was in his crazy quick IX compared to Franz's showroom X.
