Just note that most brand new extinguishers are not tagged.
Also the manufacture date can be two years old on the shelf.

(I could be very wrong? But thats how i understand it.)
You are supposed to be properly trained in order to inspect and stamp them, but yes, apart from visually inspecting for any other damage you've got it right.

The elcheapo Bummings extinguisher complies with Cams regs - AS/NZ 1841.5.

Go-Gear tag them for $5.50

Going to purchase a new motorsport helmet.

Want to get a full facelid this time as the thought of eating an airbag doesn't appeal to me anymore.

Any brands, experiences good or bad & suggestions welcome.

Also what are peoples thoughts on these neck collars? Hans device is not an option for me at the moment with no cage.

Cheers.

I have a Stilo WRC DES and I love it ! I guess it's more of a intercom orientated helmet but it's perfect they do full face also and if you do the sprint series you can also buy the stilo intercom and use it if someone else has one also

I was told years ago that not all helmets are created equally, I guess this shows it...

Nek collars are not worth spending money on .. a bolt in harness bar with hans would be far better ... i run an omp jet75 open face very very comfy and has allowance for coms if u go that way laster too , and hans posts most importantly

You don't need a cage to run a Hans...just a well set up and attached harness...I'm sure that some place like MMS could set up some safe mounting points for you. As far as helmets go, you gets what ya pays for....how much is your head worth? Personally I recommend Stilo.

I haven’t bought a helmet in a very long time, but used to run and still own a couple of Stilo helmets, and if I were to be in the market for another helmet I’d go straight for Stilo again, so can’t recommend them enough.

Nick runs OEM seats and belts.

And him and the car are definetly quick enough to make one feel very nervous being strapped in with a standard belt at the rallysprints.
