Wavey.
We did mention it in our Rally Cast Wavey (is dedicated to WARC competitors).

Curly, you have to account for ARC runners being limited to Kumho tyres (we punctured 3 of them) and limited to only using 12 for the event. (we only had 7 new ones, hence being way down the board despite our pace on most of the stages)

Karl, is it possible to put still pics over that podcast so there's something to look at?

Maybe Doug. I'll have to check into it. Was our first one so pics are definitely on the list for future episodes and if we can work it out, we'll upload an updated version for the QFR. We're creating the pod casts as it is faster than typing up the articles and also they can be put onto a device for passive listening.

Yeah valid point, I'd forgotten about tyres. We were on Kumho 800s, what was everyone else on? Alex was on DMacks I assume?

So Doug - pretty happy with the new car?

From what I could see, Alex was on Pirellis, Dylan and Rob Webber were on MRFs, and I think most of the rest of the state/ARC guys were on Kumhos.
I think Raz in the Fiesta was on Kumhos (may have been DMacks, but the Kumho truck was changing them), Sean in the Silvia and Geoff in the 180sx were both on MRFs

We ran 6 Kumhos, and got two pretty big dents in rims, but surprisingly no punctures! Does anyone know a decent place south of the river to get rims repaired?

Wavey.

Hey Curly,
You should have told me you needed "Flood" stickers for the back side windows. I made Parish & Morgan ones for the zero car.
Let me know in future since I have a plotter/cutter to do vinyl stickers.

Yeah Curly, the new car's mint. After I bent the back suspension arm on Ferndale 1 and got a 4 minute penalty for early booking in we didn't push super hard on the remaining stages. The car definately has more potential in it. The transmission is something I always wanted to do on the old car but never did. It's worth time for sure, not only that it can be shifted faster, that's only part of it, but also because I can go down a gear mid corner while still left foot braking. It gave me heaps more confidence. I'm undecided whether to leave the restrictor in and stay in group N or go unrestricted. Either way I'm off race fuel, that was just way too much cost. We spent something like $1500 on WRF alone!

Doug, the new wheels, is this the one that was for sale a couple of weeks ago on gumtree for circa $30k?

Looked to be a good buy, & from some of the YouTube footage, looks to go hard..
