Not that quick but just learning the car atm...trying different settings etc...but had a fun night without any dramas and the car got home in one piece (as did the gear stick). Bad luck for Jamie though, but it appeared no mechanical damage...just one of those bad luck things...he rarely makes a mistake.
Impressed how smoothly it ran with almost 100 entrants...we were home before 10pm.

LOL, thought I walkedpast you but wasn't 100% sure. Some young P player kids ruined his neat bug STI, was his first ever venture in to motorsport and his car is fucked. Whoever encouraged him to enter needs a smack down.

Anybody know why they didn't use the rolling starts again this round?? I was under the impression that they were going to run it again last night until they started lining up at the start beam.

I had a good evening and happy with my times and results. Beat my previous P.B. time so can't complain at that.

Thanks to Lyall for being my co driver for the evening.

Default Last night was a hoot

I finally got the missus into the car with me for the first time. It's been a while since I've had a run down here and it's still loads of fun, even on old Forest Rally gravel tyres from about 3 years ago.
It's a pity for those couple of competitors that have a bit of fence work to take care of, but at least it was in a safe controlled environment.
You can't beat joining a good car club and getting out to do some skids!

Did scrutineering and ran as sweep car this round.
Epic end to the night as I got to try to chase down Alister in his Escort.
He was pretty much on full opposite lock at every turn. SO. MUCH. FUN.

Jamie is extreeeemly fast[/QUOTE]

Seems like i was just a little bit to fast this time
Just a mistake where me foot rolled off the side of the brake pedal for a momment and it was all over

Drove the car home fine .Looking like there is no structural damage
luckily its only the removable panels that got damaged
Just got work out the best way to go about fixing it

Hope you get it all sorted without too much pain mate. Gives you sick a feeling to the gut looking at the damage to both cars last night so can't imagine how it feels for you and the other guy. Although I think the other guy was an idiot doing that as his first ever track event.

Check the towers, didn't look too good when I checked it out. You hit pretty hard on that curb. :/
