what about briefing and/or scrutinering?
I will get Jai or Brett to run through the drivers briefing once you get there & John is still around to scrutiner your car. You won't miss out on laps, numbers are low at this point so many to be had! |
Hi everyone. Am new to this and i wanted to have some track time. I have read that a cams licence is required to participate. How quickly can i get one and any advice about where to go for medicals? Thanks in advance..
|
Shouldn't need a medical.
With your cams license you can either pay $55~ for the night or pay for the full year when you are there which is about $110. Both of which can be done on the night when you get there :) If you Facebook message nolimits they are usually quick to respond and super friendly :) |
Thanks dukedrifter... i dont have FB. So i can just pay and come to the track and apply for the licence?

Yeah mate, send off your sign up form then do your cams on the night. You'll need helmet long patns long top and enclosed shoes |
Stockwrc,
You'll also need to be a member of a CAMS car club, eg nolimits, WRXCoWA. |
Thank you Jeckle and DukeDrifter..
Wow many small things i didnt know about. What are your opinions about the membership , nolimits or WRXCoWa? I have read about the helmet and shoes etc. Just i didnt know about being a member of a club. Again can this be done on the night itself? I wonder how will the stock wrx drive on a track, with maybe factory shock absorbers which are +10yrs old. |
You can do the nolimits membership on the night.
I wouldn't worry about times just on progress from the start of the night till the end. You'll get an instructor to give you some tips as well. |
Then it all seems good..
Do i need a fire extinguisher? So i will try my best to get the entry by tonight. Just need leave work earlier to reach there on time. |
