Was very happy with my runs this morning. Getting to know my limits of grip in the wet. Last run was within 5 sec of lister, who I see as a king in the wet

Some great cars out there this morning. Hopefully no flames for this comment but I loved the sound of two nicely presented rx7's.

Well it was a pretty dismal morning...kept my attention sliding around on old, worn and a bit hard R Specs...but a good learning curve as to the car's handling in the wet. Only had one sphincter moment...aqua-planed coming into the loop before the main straight....had visions of sliding down the slope on the grass to the armco, but managed to pop it sideways then back onto the track over a witches hat...d'oh. That R35 was unbelievable in the downpours...I guess that's what you get for your $160+K...
For a change the arvo guys had dampness too!
